In celebration of me being two months(!) away from actually living in Astoria, I made this blog. Hopefully my blogging skills will be improved by then.
I am so so so so excited about going and this weekend I might be meeting two of the three girls I'll be living with there for the first time, that'll be nice and weird.
I'm starting to fill out the visa application forms (or at least thinking about what I'll write on them) and I guess I have to make an appointment at the embassy next week. I can't believe this is actually happening.

Sofie, the sushi restaurant is Watawa on Ditmars and 34th Street.
There is a wonderful Greek restaurant across the street called, Taverna Kyclades that is excellent.
